What does it mean?
It means that instead of having to search for an Instagram hashtag, your posts will show up automatically in the feeds of your prospects. Till now, the Instagram algorithm has been favoring the use of specific and relevant hashtags. This new feature makes using the right hashtags even more crucial to your IG success.
How to follow Instagram hashtags?
Step # 1. Go to the Explore Page, type in the hashtag you want to follow and tap on it.

Step # 2. To follow that hashtag and see the content in your feed, tap the follow button.

If at some point you don’t wish to keep following a hashtag, you can always come back to the hashtags gallery, tap on Following and unfollow it from the pop-up menu.

How to manage your content feed?
You can always manage what kind of content you want to see on your Instagram feed.
You’ll recognize your followed hashtags in your Instagram feed by seeing the hashtag listed next to the current photo and the colored hashtag symbol.

Like and comment that content, so the IG algorithm will keep giving your more of it.
What if you don’t like that type of content but you want to keep following that hashtag?
No problem.
Tap on the three-dot icon for that post and then tap on Don’t show for this hashtag. This action will educate the IG algorithm on your content preferences.
