Every piece of content, online ad, and webpage you produce should end with a call-to-action (CTA).

What’s a call to action?

A Call to Action is a phrase that’s used to tell the user exactly what action to take and how to take it. This can be as simple as two words or a sentence or two.

Using stronger, unique verbs can improve conversions because they incite to take action. Let your audience know exactly what you want them to do, and don’t dilly dally – start the CTA with the desired action.

You need to get to the point to attract attention. Too many words can be a buzzkill. However, the right amount can convert at a much higher rate.

3. Use an enthusiastic tone

If your CTA is enthusiastic, then your audience will be enthusiastic too.

4. Includes an eye-catching image

If you want to inspire your audience to take action, you don’t need to do a hard sell to get people to buy from you. 

What you need is authentic, targeted information and visuals that offers insight into who you are and why they need to take action with you today.

5. A sense of urgency

Tell your audience why they should follow your CTA and use limited offers or implement a time limit to instill a fear of missing out (FOMO). One of the best uses of FOMO in your CTA is to mention a sale or promotion that your company is holding, and which won’t last forever.
