Often times people ask me, ‘Why do I need a content strategy? I’m already doing my best posting some stuff here and there.’
I’ll be frank with you. Without a social media marketing strategy, your business is going to commit suicide. You’re not connecting with your audience/customers, so your revenues and benefits are going to suffer.
Here are 4 keys to an effective content marketing strategy:
1.- Be Creative in your content creation. Don’t create boring and meaningless posts that nobody cares. Creative people focus on the meaning of what they do. They ensure that what they do has significance for them and, therefore, for others.
So be creative! You must captivate, seduce your customers with meaningful content.
2.-Use images to tell your story. They say, ‘ a picture is worth a thousand words.’ And that’s true.
Visual imagery is very important to our understanding of the world because humans are intensely visual creatures depending on how you do the accounting. Between 20 and 50 percent of our brain is devoted to processing visual information and we have some very impressive capabilities in that direction.
According to the Twitter Media Blog, posts that have images attract over 30% more engagement than the standard tweets.
3.-Find your audience. Unless you find the right audience, your creative story won’t be listened.
You should know where your customers spend their time most, and give them the creative content that resonates deeply with them. But, remember: don’t be boring!
4.-Engage people. What works best to engage people is having the Reciprocity Law in mind.
People will start listening to you when they notice that you are acknowledging or listening to them. So, please, try to be nice. If someone follows you, likes you, you should try to answer them and to thank them.
In order to master creative content, don’t forget that creative stories connect and inspire others!
What’s your story?
‘Please, like me, follow me, circle me, pin me, let’s connect on…’
So you go to their account, and what you find? A beggar who has nothing to offer.
Invite to your site when you’re an emperor. You’re giving so powerful and meaningful information that your customers will come once and again.
Yes, you can buy a million of fake followers, but they will never care about what you do. Instead, you can consistently deliver the most impactful information and you’ll earn their attention now and tomorrow.
What’s the story that is worth talking about? Share it!
